Project Brief

This typography book project explores New York's Neighborhoods of Typography, and the visual forms of letters, words and text, by experimenting with type scale, spatial relationships, contrast, rhythm, tone, graphic element and textures.

 

 
 

Neighborhoods of Type explores the formal attributes of the letterforms and the feelings they evoke about each neighborhoods through photographs.

Compositional Projects from 1 to 5 focused on the visual forms of letters, words and text, by considering type scale, spatial relationships, contrast, rhythm, tone, graphic element and textures.

Project 6 investigates the concept of visual hierarchy, and applies visual effects to the communication of a message, by re-orienting chosen information from accuweather.com.
